Norman E. Wells, Jr. is a Co-Founder, Partner and Operating Executive of SFW Capital Partners and a member of its Investment Committee. He previously served as Chairman and CEO of Sovereign Specialty Chemicals, Inc., which was sold to Henkel AG in 2004. He worked alongside Mr. Salice and Mr. Freeman as an Operating Partner at AEA Investors where he focused on process enhancement and management system optimization in various portfolio companies. Before Sovereign, Mr. Wells served as CEO of Easco, Inc. from November 1996 until its sale to Caradon plc in August 1999, and was CEO of CasTech Aluminum Group Inc. from June 1991 until its sale to Commonwealth Aluminum in June 1996. Mr. Wells also served on the Boards of Dal-Tile International and Manchester Tank & Equipment Co. Mr. Wells has BS degrees in Metallurgical Engineering and Industrial Engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA from Gonzaga University. |
